For Referral Surgery, Your Pet Deserves a Board Certified Specialist

WHAT IS A BOARD-CERTIFIED VETERINARY SURGEON?

Veterinarians wanting to specialize in surgery require an additional 4 years of advanced surgical training.  Veterinary colleges and some private specialty hospitals provide this training in the form of a 1 year internship and a 3 year surgical residency.  The future surgeon then submits his/her credentials to the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (www.ACVS.org) and must pass a rigorous 2 day test to become board-certified.

 WHO IS DR. KADERLY?
